Sarah Rides A Bike

After Moses got his bike there were many fights arising over who got to ride it so we finally broke down and got Sarah her own bike to ride! Needless to say she is loving it! The first thing Moses and Sarah do in the morning is jump on their bikes. We have been taking bike rides around the neighborhood and starting a neighborhood bikers gang with the other little kids in the neighborhood. It is quite fun! Here are a few snapshots of Sarah on her first night of getting the bike (in her princess pajamas of course)!

Mother's Day

Queen for a day...well not exactly. On Mother's Day I celebrated by mothering. Mark had to work all day and it was rainy outside so we played dress-up! It wasn't exactly what I had in mind but we had fun. Earlier in the week we had gone to the field of flowers on the other side of the island and took some Mother's Day pictures. Again didn't go exactly like I had anticpated (I had pretty high expectations) but we did mangage to get a few great shots! Enjoy the pictures!

Evening Tide

One evening a couple of weeks ago we rode bikes out to the beach after dinner. It was a beautiful evening and we had a great time finding shells, flying kite and just enjoying the ocean and each other!

3 Days- 5 Bikes - Outer Banks

Cameraderie is one word that came to my mind more than any other when I was thinking about buying a motorcycle. Matt, Shawn, Ryan, Chuck and I spent 3 days touring the Outer Banks last week - it was an awesome time. Here are some pictures from the trip.

TRIUMPH/Harley

Last week I had some free time Saturday before work. Matt and Naomi were planning on coming down to go to the beach with Heather and I and the kids. Before we hit the beach Matt and I took our bikes out for a cruise through the small towns around Emerald Isle. We rode through Swansboro, Stella and Hubert before rejoining the rest of the crew on the beach. Here are a few pictures of the bikes along the way
