We have been blessed with visitors in the last month. It has been a blessing to see people from home. The second week in October Chris, Meg, Jaiden & Reese came for a visit. It was a warm October day and we hit the beach....the kids even ventured into the water. The kids loved seeing their cousins and we had a great time connecting with Chris & Meg. Thanks for the good visit guys!

Chuck E. Cheese!
So...to celebrate Silas's birthday we went to the kids favorite place (besides RuckerJohn's of course)! Silas had a great time as you can see...
All right, to play this game first you need to line up your shot
Okay, aim...
Look Who Turned Two...
Last Sunday Silas celebrated two years of life! I can't believe how big our little man is getting! He is becoming quite a ham these days and loves to "cheese" for the camera. His vocabulary seems to be growing daily and he is quite proud of himself when he says a new word. A few weeks ago in a restaurant a waitress asked him what his name was. "Bo-Bo", he said proudly. (Bo-Bo is a monkey from his favorite book). "Really," said the waitress, "Bo-Bo?". Silas just smiled at her.
I had to reassure the waitress that I did not indeed name my kid Bo-Bo. But Silas was proud nonetheless. We love this little guy and had a great time celebrating his second birthday!

Fall at the Beach
This past week has been cold here in Coastal Carolina but today it was warmer so we headed to the beach for a morning walk. By mid-morning the sun was beating down and we were hot so we shed our socks & sneakers and went barefoot on the beach looking for shells and digging in the sand! It was a great fall day at the beach!
Daddy & Me...
Silas loves to spend time with Daddy and he loves to play ball. So on this fall morning he got to do two of his favorite things...
Our neighbors have a basketball net set up in our cul-de-sac that we have fun shooting baskets with!
A Pirate, a Princess & a Tiger...
My three musketeers on their way to our neighbors to collect some candy! We went to a couple of houses in the neighborhood, to RuckerJohn's and to a nearby church that had a fall festival with games & candy. Needless to say they had a great time and got lots of sugar!
