Spring Flowers

Moses and Sarah were up early on Monday morning so I decided to take them for a stroll along a stretch of road heading into Emerald Isle where there are some awesome spring flowers blooming. Moses was roaming all around so Sarah and I had fun taking some pictures and running through the field. Here are some of my favorite shots.

Sarah, you're not supposed to be picking these!

No Daddy there is definately not a flower behind my back.

I live for little moments like these...

This picture is so Silas. He literally spends hours a week pushing this dump truck up and down the driveway and around the cul-de-sac!

Moses Learns to Ride

We found a bike for Moses at a yard sale that was brand new with the tags on and everything for a bargain price of $3. The bike came with training wheels and Moses was so excited to ride it. He mastered the training wheels quickly and we told him if he gets good on the training wheels we can take them off. So a couple hours later he comes back to me (Heather) and says, "Mom, I think I am getting too good." So the next morning we took the training wheels offf and taught him how to ride. He did really well. However, by the afternoon he was upset and crying because he couldn't ride his bike good enough anymore and he wanted the training wheels back on! It has been a learning process indeed for Moses and Mommy and Daddy too! It is amazing how fast our son is growing up! The other day when taking about him being five and going to school he knowingly told me, "Mom, five is big you know!"

Picking Strawberries

Saturday we loaded up the kids and headed to Buck's Corner Farm in Peletier, NC. We had fun picking strawberries with the kids and have been enjoying strawberry jam and homemade strawberry ice cream. It was a beautiful day and I had a blast taking pictures. Sarah ate most of what she picked and Silas hung out and watched- basically Mommy and Moses did most of the work. Enjoy the pictures.

A Spring Day at the Beach

Birthday, Chuck E. Cheese & A Date Nite

What a combination right! The weeks have flown by since our trip to Asheville. Mark has been riding his motorcycle and we have been enjoying spring at the beach. Two weeks ago we had one of the best family days at Chuck E. Cheese's. Seriously. We had a really great time together just laughing, playing the games, eating pizza & getting pictures with Chuck E. Then last week we celebrated Mark's birthday with an evening with Matt & Naomi and a date night! We have just recently met two really cool waitresses who work with Mark at RuckerJohn's and offered to babysit anytime. So we took them up on it and went to a restaurant in a little town called Beaufort which is right on the water. Enjoy the pictures!

Triumph

Last month after a few months of searching I finally found the motorcycle I had been looking for. We finished off our trip to Asheville by picking up my Triumph Scrambler. I have been having an awesome time learning to ride around Coastal Carolina. Here are a few images of my bike from a recent ride around the Croatan Forrest.
